check out ‘Red Beans & Rice’, a great documentary about people like you: record collectors.

their collections, their stories.

‘Vinyl People’

‘It’s old music as new music. It’s not about nostalgia’.

Record Store Day 2013

At the Drive-In ‘Relationship of Command’. 2xLP /4000 Orange. Expensive in the stores, already much more expensive on eBay now. It’s advertised as a RSD only color, so hopefully there is another pressing coming for the many who missed out.

Cave In ‘Until Your Heart Stops’. 2xLP /2000. Remastered. Some copies are on orange w/ black haze.

Deftones ‘Live Vol.1’ (Selections from Adrenaline). /3000. Vinyl only release, remastered from original tapes by Bernie Grundman. First in a series of 7 live releases.

Drowningman ‘Busy Signal at the Suicide Hotline’, 1998.

Recently remastered and reissued by Hydra Head on three colors: Black/Yellow, Clear, and Black.

One of the most underrated hardcore bands.

Finally, the 30 minute documentary ‘Re-Vinylized’ is available to stream. Check it out!

KCRW’s On the Record - LA Vinyl

A nice little piece on record collecting and record stores in Los Angeles.

New Release: Kaki King ‘Glow’.

The 6th full length from this tiny, talented lady (and first to see an official vinyl pressing) marks a return to guitar-centered instrumental music.

Here’s hoping Velour Recordings considers giving some of her back catalog the wax treatment.

If you’ve never heard of King and the wonderful, impressive sounds she can make, do it now.

Check out this video on Music Millennium, a great record store I frequent here in Portland, Oregon.

They recently moved all their vinyl from their rickety cramped upstairs to a dedicated room and it’s lovely.

Terry is a legend.
